1. Who we are
Veldra, Inc. ("Veldra", "we", "us") operates the veldra.org website and the ReserveGrid OS software suite. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you interact with our services.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Account information
When you register for observe-mode access, we collect your name, email address, organization name, and a password. Your password is stored as a one-way cryptographic hash using Argon2id. We never store or have access to your plaintext password.
2.2 Session data
When you log in, we create a session token stored in your browser. Session tokens expire after 7 days by default. We store session metadata (creation time, last activity) to manage active sessions.
2.3 Analytics
We may use third-party analytics services to understand how visitors use our website. These services may collect standard web analytics data including page views, referrer URLs, browser type, and approximate geographic location derived from IP address. We do not sell or share analytics data with third parties for advertising purposes.
2.4 Operational data
ReserveGrid OS processes block-template data as part of its verification function. Template data (block height, transaction counts, fee totals, declared fields, and reason-code emissions) is logged locally on operator infrastructure. Veldra does not transmit, collect, or store operator template data on our servers.
3. How we use your information
We use collected information to provide and maintain observe-mode access, send email verification and account-approval notifications, communicate about service updates or security issues, and improve the website experience through analytics.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with email service providers (for transactional emails such as verification and approval notifications) and analytics providers (for aggregated, non-identifying usage data). We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Veldra and its users.
5. Data retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Expired session tokens are automatically cleaned up. You may request account deletion by contacting us via the Request access page.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including Argon2id password hashing, TLS encryption for data in transit, and access controls on our infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
7. Your rights
You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and associated data, or opt out of non-essential communications. To exercise these rights, pleasecontact us.
8. Cookies
We use a session cookie for authentication when you log into observe mode. We may use analytics cookies if third-party analytics are enabled. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
